FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it done freehand? How do you put the image on the wood?
A: Yes, it is all done by hand except for the prints. I draw everything else from a photo off of my phone or the computer. The only time I trace is if it is a specific lettering font or a company logo as that is important for the branding of the company, or when drawing human portraits (because I don’t want to take the risk).
Q: Can you change things about the photos we send you, like if there is a piece of fur or a collar that we don’t want shown?
A: Absolutely. This is art so anything you can imagine is possible. I am able to visualize it for you. Sombreros, sunglasses, monocles and pipes are also an option ;)
Q: If I want a portrait of two or more pets, can I send you individual pictures?
A: Yes, I can piece them together myself. You can let me know if you have a preference which one is on the left or right for instance.
Q: Do you ship anywhere?
A: Worldwide, but it not included, you will have to pay it. I will send you the estimate if you need one!
Q: Do you have gift cards?
A: Yes, check them out here.
Q: If I have a design I want, can you work with it?
A: Yes, I love to work with you to get to a product that is exactly what you want. Even if it is a bad image of an inspiration, we can make it work together.
Q: How long does a piece take from order to delivery?
A: Depending on the queue, I will give you an estimate of time. Typically (but not always) 2-4 weeks. If it is required by a certain date, please let me know. If it is an express order, there is a surcharge. To be confirmed on a case by case.
Q: How do you price your items?
A: It’s all based on how much time it takes, and the type and cost of material. This is a full time business, handmade, one of a kind, and always made with love!
