What are you most known for?

Custom woodburned artwork - everything is made by hand and stems from a little inspiration the customer or myself may have. Whenever somebody needs a gift, I am ready with ideas to create their vision.

What’s your most popular item?

Custom pet portraits are extremely popular and one of my most sold items. I have drawn over 50 dogs - some which have passed away and now I have a cute dog ghost squad for life. Charcuterie boards are next up, and  any of my west coast style artwork - mountains, ocean life, wildlife.

What’s your main passion?

Making people's visions come true and creating custom gifts for their friends and family. The reactions of the customers feed my soul and keep me creating. I strive for every new piece to be my favourite.

What’s your favourite event you take part of in your community?

Currently with the pandemic, it's less in person so I have been giving back through teaching art classes to Boy Scouts of America and parents who need a 1.5-3 hour break in the week. Also, I donate $5 of every pet portrait to the BC SPCA and when selling larger ocean life pieces or wildlife, I or the customer chooses a donation and we donate 3-5% of the profit.

What’s your inspiration?

Creating joy for others and showing them the beauty of naturally made artwork. I love finding a piece of wood that somebody has no idea what they can do with, or a carpenter who will be burning it to get rid of it, and creating a beautiful artwork on it. Giving that wood a new life makes me feel like I'm giving back to nature.
